As expected. im leaving a detailed review here on because I nervously bought this bed based off of others reviews and I am so happy I did! The bed came packed well (head board has a zipper pouch behind where the pieces were stored). For the price, this bed is beautiful. We bought a mattress and box spring locally which had to be returned as the head board is not very high so the box spring had to go. The bed is very sturdy, was pretty simple for my husband to put together, and looks awesome. We recently moved to a dinky apartment in NY from our four bedroom home is California and had to sell all of our existing (good quality) furniture. I have modern taste and and normally would never purchase a bed this cheap, assuming the quality would be crappy. This item really proved me wrong. i figured i could return it if it didnt work out but it really exceeded any expectations. I paired the bed with two white campaign side tables I also bought on and they look great together, the height is perfect!
