I bought this for myself (Im a 21 y/o male) for my small room so I could put a desk under it. Assembly took me roughly 45 min to an hour myself. I weigh between 190 and 200 pounds. The bed holds my weight no problem. It is a bit shaky but that comes with this design of an open access bottom and the shakiness is mostly only long ways, side to side (short ways) doesnt really shake. Ive noticed in the past 2 weeks it has started creaking quite loudly when Im on the bed if I move any amount. It sounds to me that the rail underneath are grinding slightly in their settings, which cant really be helped. It probably has something to do with my weight as well as this bed was meant for children.
Edit: please note I also did not use the included wall anchors. They help a lot with the long ways shakiness
