The instructions for assembly arent very clear but you can figure out how to build this bed once the initial frame is assembled. All holes line up and no problems threading the nuts and bolts. The color is more brown than shown in the product photos. Assembly is definitely a two person job, at least until the frame is assembled. Took about one hour to build with my 8 year old as assistant.
