quality in construction allowing bypass broken piece. customer service is super slow
Dealing with customer service is very frustrating. The manual says to contact them about any issues with the bed. A preinstalled bolt on this frame was broken and wouldnt tighten or loosen. The rest of the bed was easy to put together. Customer service delayed sending my piece because they lost the photos I sent them with my request on Friday. I had to send them again. It does taken24 hours for a response so it will take several days to get a new part sent since you have to wait 24 hours between each email. Something that could be done all at once in a 5 minute phone call. They are in Asia somewhere so they respond during our over night in America. I dont have confirmation that my part sent and they refuse to answer my estimated time frame question giving me vague quickly and as soon as possible responses. They refuse to acknowledge my request for tracking information. Since I had all the pieces before assembly I assembled the bed finding out only after it was assembled that a piece didnt work. So I had my bed assembled in the room but useless and my mattress on the floor with no room to walk. Rather than wait in that condition for a week waiting on a part I tried to look up how I could knock out this defective bolt and use a standard one. I couldnt do that but did see than many bed frames have a horizontal support bar only and not a vertical one. The broken bolt was to attach the vertical support rod to the support rod running between the headboard legs. Knowing this I decided to tie that piece up where it should have been bolted to keep it from dragging on the floor and finished assembly. I slept on it last night no squeaking or creaking occurred. Ill probably replace the defective piece the next time I have to move and disassemble the bed.
So quality in The construction with more than the standard support allowing me to bypass the broken piece. Ans customer service sucks and takes forever to get a simple transaction done.
