This is not the bean bag I remember from my youth. Its plush. Its quiet. The cover is soft and cozy. Id almost call it a luxury bean bag when compared to the ones in the department stores. The charcoal color is a neutral that goes well with our bold, colorful decor. I like that the cover is washable. It has 2 sets of holes in the cover that let air out when you sit down so that you sink in comfortably.
Notice that the woman in the picture is not reclining in the bean bag, but sitting up. Im on the petite side and it wont hold me in a sitting position. Thus I didnt get this for me, but for my kids to use when reading or gaming. My 9 and 11-year-old think its fantastic. If they could give it 10 stars they would.
It ships in a compressed bag and reaches about 90% of its actual size about a hour after opening. Its been a week and its probably reached its full 3 size. It is a bit heavy and bulky to move around from room to room so youll want to start it out in the room youll likely use it in.
