This bed frame replaced a very heavy old en frame with drawers underneath, none of which worked any more. It gives the room a much lighter feel. Very comfortable with my pillow/top mattress. I was a little daunted by the number of parts, but they were well numbered and instructions were very clear. I did not try to do this by myself; and with the help of one other person, we were able to get it together in just about the 30 time/frame suggested by the instructions. Its a winner. Beautiful and Sturdy.
