They run slightly large in the foot so you can wear thick socks and fit snugly. They are roomy in the chest area and I highly recommend a belt to prevent this from being a safety issue if you fall and they fill up with water. Also, if you have a pot belly these will still fit. They dont bend well at the knees.
As for leaking, I suspect that those who have had problems early, they are mostly likely tugging on the legs to slide foot into the boot and this tugs at the seems between the boot and the leg so it develops holes. They are durable and waterproof and 1/3 the price! I recommend these. Good deal and was easy to put together.
