Not too hard to put together, seems very sturdy. Didnt seem as gray as I thought it would be. More of a gray/brown. Used an 8 inch mattress for the top and it wouldnt fit for the bottom so I ordered a 6 inch that hasnt come in yet. Amazing quality.
