I felt the need to finally write a review.
First, I assembled the bed alone. I brought the boxes upstairs etc. its doable but takes longer if its just you.
Second, my kids are all under 70 lbs.
Third, one of the most vital support bars for the top bunk broke at the welds. Maybe at 3 years or even 4, BUT ONE YEAR? Properly welded joints should not bust in a year. This specific area should be reinforced because it will be used to get down from the top bunk.
So, the top bunk is no longer safe. Either (a) my kid will get stabbed by the metal or (b) roll off.
Super disappointed because we should not have to spend 200+ a year for new bunks. And we loved loved loved the bed until this morning. Perfect for us
