Its all put together with an Allen wrench, that is included with the hardware. The shipping box looked like it went through a natural disaster to get here, but everything inside was undamaged. Bed is sturdy, and I love the color. I also love that the platform slats velcro to the base, instead of screw. Id definitely recommend it!
