I knew when I chose to review this, it would be best for children, teens and small adults. I assumed from the photos that this wouldnt be the type of chair to adequately accommodate someone my size (61 198+ pounds). However, Ive seen chairs like this in stores many times and knew it would be great for my nieces children, who visit me often.
This chair is adjustable from fully laid out to fully upright. In the fully laid out position, an average sized child between the ages of 2/4, could easily nap on it. In the fully upright position, everyone outside of small children, will have their legs dangle off the end.
In terms of a ballpark range of sizes:
Best for:
Children; Small teens; Small adults; anyone under 57 and generally under 160 pounds.
The above are simply my general feeling on the appropriate size range for this chair and do not reflect anything in the product description.
The reason I feel like the above range is best is because above those sizes, sitting in the chair feels very cramped.
Material quality is good. Its along the lines of what, I think, most would expect at this price range.
Overall, the chair seems quite sturdy and the adjustable mechanism seems strong.
