i got this for my 9 year old . it took forever to put together . i had to stop along the way and order replacement parts the head board isnt all one section. So it would crack trying to put the post on both sides and middles parts together. some parts are not strong or think enough . i did not realize that the post came curved, it left gaps. plus even the railing board didnt fit in the slot in post. cause that railing was curved also . plus the boards that go under bed is suppose to be long enough to put the ends over some wood sections to hold it in place on each side (which is a really smart idea )but didnt fix, im gonna fix that myself . there so many wood dowels i would feel better if they were more screw with barrel nut . i did order a wrong post with 1st replacement order but there were other parts , but with 3 different shipment that took 10 days each cause it 7 business days plus weekends each time and couple times they ship wrong parts , i sure hope that it will last i got a full size so that maybe it could be used for years. i hate leaving bad reviews.
