This futon came in 2 pieces with the feet detached. Literally, all I had to do what lay it out flat (face down) and screw in the feet and attach the T feet in the middle that connected the 2 pieces and VIOLA installation was completed! THe longest part of the install was reading the instructions lol. It is small which is what I wanted. It is also pretty FIRM... like really firm. If you were going to have a guest sleep on it I would recommend getting a memory foam mattress topper to throw on top of it before expecting them to get a good nights rest. I have such a topper on standby and this is the perfect addition to my chill room. I added some big comfy couch pillows and a throw blanket to it and it is comfy enough I can binge watch Netflix on it but I didnt fall asleep and could readjust and I wanted so I didnt have to get too uncomfortable on the firm couch.
