Absolutely love the look of this bed, it's true to the images and has a nice rustic beachey look in my room. HOWEVER, be ready for many hours of assembly time - I had to re-build it 3 times because I missed a small detail in step 2 (the instructions are pictures only, not words, and not the clearest). Also, in the last step, you have to individually nail in each of the slats...which took ages and was physically hard to do because there were no pre-drilled started holes. Eventually I gave up on the slats and just lay them in place instead of nailing them in which has worked so far, but I haven't done much to test their strength besides just laying on the bed.
