Easy to assemble. The plastic tips on the legs do scratch my vinyl plank floor, so I bought felt pads to glue on. The legs are metal and painted to look like wood. Overall, I really like the chairs. The seat seems slightly taller than other dining chairs, which works for me since I am tall. Enjoyed it.
