My 11 yr old and I put this together. It took us about 2.5 hours and it was not at all complicated. It seems sturdy enough so far and the pull out desk is great for a smaller room. The drawers hold enough clothes for an 11 yr old but may not be enough for an older teenager. Shell definitely outgrow it in 3/4 years but for now, its a great option.
