Easy enough to assemble if you have average ability (it comes with an instruction sheet and a little hexagonal wrench that is common for selfassembled furniture). Read the instructions carefully, it saved me a lot of time to do that instead of my first logical approach that I would have tried if I hadnt read the instructions first. After reading the reviews my main concerns were that the material would be too thin/delicate, and that the seat cushioning would not be enough. I think the material is actually of standard or better quality and the seat padding is cushy/good (I weigh 240 lbs). I feel that its sturdy and Im happy I bought this. Theres an 800 number on the box in case you run into problems, but I didnt have any. Solid office chair.
