Read before you buy Such a beautiful piece of furniture! And sturdy as all get out! We got this for my mother who is 280lb and has Parkinsons. She was having difficulty getting in and out of her bed. This sits high and she is able to do so with ease. We added a piece of plywood on top of the slats for added support and she has had no problems. She gets the best night ssleep now!
