I have quite a few modern mid century couches some of which cost a handful of multiples of this couch. Some of them I had to assemble, but never unfold. It came in a cube box which was hefty but easy to move into the house. Everything is of decent quality/ the thick smooth fabric, solid wood legs and nuts and bolts. The cushions are mostly cushioned steel springs probably not for commercial or heavy use, but for an average small family room, it should suffice. Compared to other similar couches, it looks very good, is a bit on the firm side (which is good), is perfect 2nd couch for a family room. The back is fully covered same fabric for those who put couches in the middle of the room. Very sturdy and durable
