We wanted to convert our guest room (had a queen sized bed in it that took up most of the space) into a playroom but we still wanted to be able to sleep two guests if needed. We looked at daybeds but the footprint of these were too big for the space. I did not want a pull out couch since Ive never slept on one of those and felt like Id had a good night sleep in the morning. I found this on and Im so glad I did! It is perfect for what we needed in this space.
As a couch, it is comfortable though it is slightly lower to the ground than a regular couch. I admit that when the box came I was skeptical since it didnt seem like the whole thing could fit in the one box that arrived, but once we assembled it, we were very happy. One person has slept on it and elected not to make it into the full queen size, but they said it was very comfortable. It did have a very noticeable odor right out of the box, but it faded away in less than 2 weeks. Seller was great and shipping was faster than expected.
The bottom line:
Pros: great for a small space while not sacrificing the ability to have guests, comfortable as both a couch and a bed, quality material
Cons: out of box smell, cost (though when we priced out daybeds, by the time we factored in mattresses, this wasnt much more and still sleeps 2 people)
