This is a great product. All solid wood except for the plywood mattress slats (although it is a soft pine). The headboards had a dent due to shipping and they quickly sent new items. Excellent service on that front (thanks Jordyn). Lots of pieces that took over an hour to assemble but rock solid when done. Tip: Using a variable speed drill with the appropriate Allen wrench bit makes all the difference in assembly time. These are big screws and just using the supplied wrench would make the assembly very tough. Its worth the cash
