Who knew that bed frames were so expensive?! I shopped around A LOT for a new bed frame when we upgraded to a king size mattress. It seemed like even the ones in the $500 range were made poorly and not lasting for people. For the price, this does the job. It was easy enough to assemble (definitely helps to have two people for this). It took my husband and I about 45 minutes or an hour to put it together. We used the tip of putting the packing padding between the joints to reduce noise. It's been several months now and it's gotten a few hard workouts, and it's as solid and tight as the day we assembled it. No complaints. I will say, we have ours on carpet. I imagine the center supports would be more prone to slipping and bending on hardwood or tile.
