Dont always follow assembly instructions precisely
I like this chair, its really comfy. But whoever wrote the assembly instructions is a bit of an idiot. You dont put the chair seat on the base/caster assembly and try to assemble the rest of it, youll be chasing it all around the room! Instead, put together the base/caster assembly, then put together the back/arms/seat assembly, then finally put the 2 halves together. A lot less stress after its done.
