Read the instructions carefully and you can do this. The only thing they forgot to put in the directions is that the black cover on the bottom is attached by velcro and can be removed easily to put the chair together. Then replaced. Luckily for me another reviewer on . showed it and explained it. Easy to assemble! So luxurious!
