Difficult to assemble due to machinery of parts

I like that once assembled I have a reasonable office chair. I disliked that the parts did not fit well together, hardware not lining up and in all cases impeded by pleather material. It is not leather. In this assembly, as with most, one would want to keep bolts loose then after assembly tighten them as directions recommend. But to keep loose as much as required, bolts fall out after having hard time to get in initially due to misalignments. Try screw in bolts to base first then through the desired part, and if part will not affix, tape successful try bolt near hole it worked in. I recommend putting chair and back part together first rather than mounting on base initially. Wish I had. I have put together many units of manufactured furniture, for self, friends, and employment. The manufacturers need to go to school!
