The handles are a texture plastic-like foam material, while the main part of the chair is synthetic leather. Overall, this chair can be a quick 10-30 assemble.
My only peeve about this chair is that the cushion is a bit lacking. The foam used is a bit too soft and sinks into the board a bit too much to my liking.
