Anti slip plastic mats surround the base. The height can be adjusted from approximately 21 to 31.5 by a lift lever under the seat. The stools can also rotate 360°from either direction. They also can support a maximum weight capacity of up to 300 lbs. The bar stools were easy to assemble taking 15 minutes or less just make sure to take off the cap to the gas lift before assembly.
