For starters, every screw in the kit is a Phillips (Star for you uncultured swine). Bafflingly, the bean counters decided a chinsy Flat head screwdriver would suffice, it doesnt. Second, some 1st year engineering intern suggested using nylon screw anchors for the cam lock studs. Nice touch except no thought was given as to how these would remain stationary while screwing the cam studs in. Half a turn in and the nylon anchors break loose. Now you have the privilege of jamming the nylon anchor with that worthless flat head they gave you while simultaneously driving the cam stud in. While there are several more atrocities I could list, Ill leave off with this. If you are capable of assembling this desk, you likely have some scarred knuckles and this isnt your first rodeo. If this is your first foray into assembling cheap furniture, good luck and dont give up.
