This is a nice chair. However, I gave it two stars for assembly for one reason only. The screws came painted black and either a dab of blue paint on each one or Loctite. The paint seriously affected my ability to tighten the screws. In fact, cranking on them made the inserts loose. I ended up cleaning the paint off the screws with a wire wheel and reset the inserts. The screws went in nicely after I cleaned them. I suggest you do the same prior to initial insertion to enable ease of assembly and to prevent damage to the bottom of the seat.
