Reading the reviews after purchasing made me worried so I felt compelled to write one after I got the chair.
-1 star for Assembly: Its not easy but totally doable and takes about 20min. I definitely recommend someone to help line up the holes to screw. One step in the directions is wrong, the piece overlap is real. You need to actually screw in the backrest first then the bottom piece after I didnt even attempt it the other way it clearly doesnt fit so I can see some getting frustrated or returning it. If you are looking for something very eays this is not your chair but it does come with the allen wrench so no extra tools are needed.
After assmebly I noticed all the creaking problems others talked about. This is very easily fixed, turn the chair over and turn tighten the reclining knob. When its very tight it doesnt recline but its dead quiet, so its your choice.
The chair itself: This thing is not expensive and it can hold a lot of weight, not 500 though. Its fine for me but I bet at around 400 its breaking fast. I am not sure if it will hold up long term 50 hours a week but its better than what I had before. Comfort is decent, size is a non issue, backrest goes head to butt which is nice, armrests are sturdy. The base is metal and wont break, the wheel holders are metal to metal which is where my last chair failed. It looks professional and not like some fat person only chair if you know what I mean.
I think if you want a 5 star chair with extreme comfort, weight Capacity, and professional style you need to pay more. Its a good buy for the money.
