I needed an extra work desk that I could put in my living room. I wanted something that was attractive and stylish, but also not flimsy or wobbly. This desk is attractive and has a nice mid-century modern style. The angled legs give it a unique flair. The walnut color matches my living room quite nicely. The desktop is about 42 wide by 20 deep and provides plenty of work space. It stands about 30 high. It weighs about 48 pounds and is easy to move around.
It is very sturdy. I have my laptop, as well as an additional monitor, external keyboard, and mouse all on the desk. It is stable when Im typing and using the mouse. The desk can accommodate a pretty heavy load. I suspect it can reliably hold 50 to 60 pounds though the instructions say the max load is 110 pounds.
Assembly took about 90 minutes. I recommend using a larger floor space and unboxing all of the components first. Make sure you have identified all of the parts and screws so that you know where they are when you need them. The assembly instructions are surprisingly good. They were understandable and easy to follow.
