I like the unit, however I wanted it to be visually obscure, so have put white panels behind the vents in front, so as to draw less attention to the unit. I have hooks above it for jackets, and its right at the front door in a corner, behind the door when you open the door. I gave the cushion away, as it will not be used as a bench for putting on shoes, just a place to store shoes to get them off the floor. I like the unit very much and am satisfied with it.
