Bought this futon to replace a really old, uncomfortable one my wifes mother had for a long time.
PROS
- Simple assembly with easily identifiable pieces (took about 45 mins)
-- Wrench included with some additional hardware
-- Instructions were easy to follow
- Legs are height adjustable and are lined with rubber feet to minimize slippage and damage to the floor
- Firm cushions that are comfortable to sleep in for a night
- Priced appropriately (actually costs less than a similar one we saw at a brick and mortar store)
- Cleverly packaged for compact and lightweight shipping
CONS
- There was a strong smell upon unpacking, but it went away after a day of airing out
TIPS
- When assembling, ensure the front legs are matched with one another as they were shaded slightly differently from the back ones
It looks and feels MUCH more modern than my mother-in-laws old futon.
