This is a moderately priced adjustable bed, but worth the money. Its very sturdy and super-simple to set up. Be careful as you unpack it: its very heavy and will take two people to move it around. At first it may be difficult to tell the head from the foot of the bed, but look for the holes in the frame were the mattress holder is set in; thats the foot. Set up, otherwise, once unpacked, consists only of screwing on the legs and plugging the thing in. The cords are long enough so that you can plug the bed in and operate the control pad from either side of the bed.
We used a 12-inch mattress on it, and it seems to be ideal.
