The chair was fairly east to assemble however, the brackets to hold the seat in place (not cushions) should have faced up not down so when you place the seat in the brackets and screw them in there is no way for the seat to come out of the brackets as they do if the screws become loose at all from very infrequent use.
The seat came loose twice, two different guests, one of them around 120 lbs!
Its okay as an accent chair as long as it does not get used much.
