Not too hard to assemble. if you are familiar with putting together ikea furniture you will be fine. But the boards are chipped in a few spots, and you can see the wood through the paint. It is a bit rickety and worries me at times when I climb into it with my 30lb kid. Im not much over 100lbs so. Overall just a cheap looking and feeling bed. If my kid hadnt been so excited for a slide bed I would have returned it for poor quality and defects.
