Very simple to set up right out of the box. It transforms from ottoman to bed and back easily and quickly. As a bed, its very sturdy and stable even for heavier guests. Im a 200 lb man and could jump up and down on the bed and feel confident it wouldnt break. I would recommend buying a foam mattress pad twin size is perfect because the bed surface is a little firm for sleeping on, as is the case with most fold/out beds. Im very happy with this product and plan on buying a 2nd one!
