It was so nice that the ottoman came without the need of putting it together. The ottoman is very nicely made and looks nice in my room. There is no problem opening it up into a bed / the hinges work well and is easy to open and close. The bed is a bit firm but I have used it a few times and placed an old quilt on the top before placing the sheets on which made it more comfortable. It is perfect for my needs.
