When you look up bed frames [no box spring required], the price points are definitely higher. This one is much more affordable, however, you do get what you pay for. I'd recommend what you save on the bed frame/boxspring, you splurge on a thicker mattress. That's something I'm looking into right now as well.
Overall, would recommend it. Affordable, easy to set up, and pretty sturdy too.
