This is the first one star review I have ever given on a purchase. The assembly instructions were poor, and the entire stand is VERY unsteady. I had to add L brackets just to keep it together because I didnt want to bother with a return. I also had to pre-drill holes and use my own screws to stabilize the entire unit. Even with this added support, the top is free-floating as they have provided no screws for stabilization. It is put together with wooden dowels only in a few small screws for the hardware. It is the worst piece of furniture Ive ever purchased. I have no idea how the manufacturer thought that this was a sturdy piece of furniture that could be sold to the public.
