What a huge waste of time, we will not be buying any products from this manufacturer again. First off the instructions are far from helpful. But even worse was the fact that one side of the piece we received not only had the holes cut in the wrong place but the boards were badly warped as well, making it nearly impossible to line up. And once we did get it forced together there are noticeable gaps and the whole piece sits cockeyed now. Definitely not something I would use as a bench to support human weight. By the time we got it all jerry-rigged, wood glued, and assembled the best we could, we decided even though its basically non-functional for what we wanted it would be too much hassle to even attempt to take apart to send back for a refund. At this point, well just keep it out of spite and let the cat use it as a bed... at least until it inevitably falls apart.
