I received this a couple of months ago and I waited to do a review until it had been used to see how it held up. We needed something in our front hallway to keep shoes so that they were not strewn across the floor all the time.
It looks just like the picture and seems to be very sturdy. The color is true and is a perfect match to what we needed.
I know others have had issues with putting it together and I did have a couple of issues myself, but I had just put an desk together the week before so it was no more difficult than that. The instructions are somewhat vague, so you do need to pay attention. Not all of the pieces were labeled, so I did have to guess (correctly, thank goodddness) based on the drawing.
The one issue I did have is with installing the safety hinge. It would not work. I dont know if it was bent or needed to be greased or what, but there was no way I could get it to attach and still be able to open and close the top, so I just didnt use it. We dont have small children using this so I am not worried. The other issue I had was that the lid was off by about 1/8, so it is a little tighter on one side than the other. This is one thing I was wanting to watch and see if it started rubbing the side and it hasnt.
Overall, it is a gooddd product but I would inspect your parts before putting them together so you can make sure you have everything and it all works properly - before you are putting on the last piece!
