This is the second Cali king Bed I have purchased, and if I ever need to get another one, this will be what I purchase again and again. I went and tested all the expensive beds and they felt no more comfortable than this bed. The first Bed I had for 2 years before we had to move over seas. It was a fantastic matress, even in Hawaii. When we moved back to the mainland, I hesitated for a minute because of the recent reviews, but I pulled the trigger anyways, and my experience with the new Bed has been the same as with my last one, aming! It does tend to a little on the hot side, but cools off quickly once you roll over for a sec IF you wake up. I have scoliosis and chronic migraines and I do NOT wake up in pain now!! I used to wake up with pain in my arms, shoulders and hips before I got these Bedes.
Make sure you ROTATE the Bed once a month, otherwise you will develop an ever so slight less firm spot where you sleep. Not necessarily a dip, but youll know where it is once you lay down for a few.
The comfort is incredible, its super soft in the top layer and comfortably firm in the second layer. You wont be able to discerned the two layers while laying on it though. I am 135lbs and could stand it to be ever so slightly softer, but I find it incredibly soft feeling and perfectly comforting to lay on. My hubby is 200lbs and sleeps like a rock on it.
He is a tank when he moves on the bed, and I dont notice him getting in or out of bed, or even rolling over. To give you some reference, when we had a traditional spring Bed, I felt like he was going to launch me out of bed when he rolled because of how hard he moves around LOL!
This is a fantastic bed, get a good frame for it and enjoy your SLEEP!
