Shipping from came very quick. The bunk bed came in one long box, and wasnt as big as I thought it would be. All the parts were there. Just be careful not to lose a screw, or bolt because you get the exact amount of hardware that is needed to complete the project. It was very easy to build using the instructions given. One person can put this together except for putting the top bunk on the bottom bunk. That will require two people. It will also require a power drill to drill the screws in the boards to the actual bunks. Other than that nothing else is needed as it comes with all the tools and hardware needed. My kids love it very much. Wood did not have bad fumes to it at all. I read a review that it did so I opened it up to air out and it just smelled like wood. Great product and came as advertised and this was one of the only beds that nothing negative was said about it.
