I have never loved and hated something so much First, it was the GREATEST/Easiest piece of furniture Ive EVER put together!! I put it together all by myself!! The directions were clear and the parts were all placed in separate bags for ease! Also each part went together like it was suppose to, everything fit RIGHT!! When does that happen! Never till this time for me!! It is beautiful, BUT OMG THE SMELL WAS HORRIFIC It took WEEKS for the toxic smell to go away. I put baking soda in the draw area and in the shelving area to help absorb whats still lingering inside the island. I STILL havent put anything in the cabinets that have been opened. Im worried the odor will absorb into the food! Even weeks after, every time walking into the kitchen it would hit you like the smell of skunk does!
