I thought this was going to take a couple of hours to put together, but it ended up being close to four hours. Everything arrived as it should, but the boards really need to be clearly marked top, bottom, front and back. I ended up taking it portions apart several times. Also, be careful putting the railings in for the drawers, it is not as clearly marked as it should be. The pictures of the instructions could be a little be clearer. There are holes that really didnt show up well which lead me to take the sideboard apart and put it back together again. Also you need to have a phillips head/crosspoint screwdriver or drill, which the instructions dont tell you that you need. Also, it does scratch easily, so put a rug or blanket down so that you can work on it without putting scratches in it.
Overall, I am very pleased with how it turned out and it looks perfect where I have placed in in my kitchen.
