I bought this as a sideboard for my kitchen, to store both puppy items out of the line of sight and to have a place for candles, etc. it works perfectly for both goals. However, it was not easy to assemble. It took two very experienced people more than two hours to put this together. There are a few minor blemishes on the surface but for what I spent and the effort to put it together, I wasnt going to return it. Its a good value for the money, especially for temporary or transitional furniture. From a distance, its fine and looks good.
