I bought this second hand. New in box but second hand so my complaints are not at fault of the company. A couple of the pieces were bent. I was able to bend them back but it made assembly a little longer and tougher. I put this together completely on my own 6 months pregnant so its defintely easy to assemble. I like that it is lower as my daughter is only 3. I like that it has storage space underneath although a lot less than I was hoping for. I was sold on a loft bed due to her new room being small. I wanted her to still have room on her floor to play and jump around and everything. My daughter co sleeps and only laid in her new bed for a picture, but she loves it. She calls it her tree house(bottom) and her peppa loft(top. I plan to add curtains and a nightlight or string lights underneath in hopes that she starts to want to sleep in her own bed before baby comes. Overall seems like a nice sturdy bed. I think I will add pool noodles to stairs. She gets up fine but I tried and couldnt even do one step, ouch!
