Taller than I expected! The futon fits under it and if you have an air mattress or want to set up a little desk or child theatre you can! My son is 8 and loves it. The only thing is to get some cushion for the steps as it hurts him. As you can see I put the Pool Noodles but they twist and can be dangerous; I thought taping it would help but nope.
Anyways, best price for an awesome bed! I normally buy from Wayfair but similar beds are over 200. Overall great buy!
