I purchased this bed for my daughter(6 years old) to try to improve the space in her room. I reviewed several beds including lofts with desk. I settled on this one first because it was in the price range I was looking for. And second the foot print, this bed has a slightly large sleep/bed than some of the other loft beds I reviewed. Also it had a large area below the loft bed than many other beds. I have to say it arrived super fast I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived Thursday. I was able to assemble the bed by myself, it would have been slightly easier with another person but you can definitely assemble alone if your handy. But overall sturdy and she loves it. Would definitely recommended this for space saving.
